Once you have mastered the basics, Keeper’s Toll introduces unique enemy archetypes, intricate bosses, and fresh mechanics that will challenge any worthy hero.

Bigger jumps, no gravity, faster running, a dash, a grappling hook, unique weapons etc. Even when these items don't offer a mechanical change, they often combine with other items that do, leading to a more enjoyable exploration and feeling of progression. It is this sense of progression that makes up for the fact that it has a similar mining system to core keeper's. But no such equivalent exists for core keeper, and it is disappointing to unlock the next tier of pickaxe when the only thing you're looking forward to is .... the next tier of pickaxe.

Smithing Skill Issue: The Blacksmith skill is currently not working properly. The skill is supposed to decrease the amount of ingredients required to repair items and craft items in the anvil, but it currently only decreases the amount that's visible in the crafting recipe, while still using the original (non-discounted) amount of said recipe.

Slow-moving slimes may not seem like much of a challenge, but if you stumble across a good-sized bunch, things can take a turn quickly. Not only do they do a surprising amount of damage, but if you die, you’ll also need to head back to that area to reclaim just about everything you had in your pack (only equipment and whatever was in your quickbar will respawn with you).

Create a totally unique base using a variety of different materials and customisations. From the ultimate adventurer’s lair to a cozy underground cottage, shape the underground your way.

Opening up the wall beyond the starting area is where the game truly begins, and this is where our Core Keeper

Torch - these are key to being able to see in the dark of the underground. Holding the Shift key temporarily pulls torches, from anywhere in inventory, into the currently selected hot-bar slot, for illumination and placement.

With Glurch dead, it's time to move on to Ghorm and Malugaz. You can find the locations for them by crafting their respective Scanners at the Glurch statue near the Core. Each of these two bosses requires different strategies to fight them.

And I've got a nice dirt patch where I can plunk down seeds, I dug a long trench from a pond all the way to my base so I can fill my Core Keeper Gameplay watering can without having to venture out, and I've even got a patch of rock set up to grow my new carrots (they're actually called carrocks, since they only grow on rock). Rather than giving you recipes and telling you what ingredients you need, you just take two ingredients—any two ingredients, even two of the same ingredient—throw them in the pot, and see what comes out.

This time I'm running because I found a carrot for the first time and I can't wait to see what new meals I can cook with it. In Core Keeper I may be trapped in the dark with unspeakable horrors, but I'm also comfortable enough to get excited about making a stew.

Using your Pickaxe, break up the wood logs surrounding the Core. Craft a couple of basic Chests from your inventory and place them so you can store excess items. Then craft a Basic Workbench and interact with it.
